Howard Altschule, CCM

Howard Altschule is the CEO of Forensic Weather Consultants, one of the most relied upon weather expert firms in the country. A Forensic Meteorologist with decades of experience, he’s the recipient of the “Certified Consulting Meteorologist” (C.C.M.) designation from the American Meteorological Society, the highest certification a consulting meteorologist can receive. Howard and his team have been retained on more than 9,600 claims and lawsuits. Howard has testified at least 111 times and has been deposed at least 122 times. He’s a member and former Board of Director/Secretary of the Association of Certified Meteorologists and a member of the AMS.

Using numerous types of weather records and high-resolution Doppler radar data, Howard and his team determine what the weather conditions were at a specific incident location, prepare expert reports, and give deposition and trial testimony for hail, wind, hurricane, slip and falls, and other weather-related claims around the country.
